Ola Electric scooter sale starts, Booking, and Financing procedure

Customers who have made a reservation for a scooter can turn it into a purchase by paying the balance amount.

Ola electric scooters went up for sale on Wednesday, a week after the company had to postpone the sale owing to technical issues in getting the company’s official website up and running. Ola clients who have reserved a scooter may now complete the transaction by paying the balance and selecting a vehicle colour and variant.

The company claims to have sold 600 crores worth of scooters in only one day. In just 24 hours, Ola claims to have sold four scooters per second. According to Ola CEO Bhavish Aggarwal, this is comparable to the whole Two-wheeler segment’s sales in terms of value.

The Ola S1 electric scooter was released last month in two variants: S1 and S1 Pro, with prices starting at 99,999 and 1,29,999, accordingly (ex-showroom). Some states are also offering FAME II subsidies.
