In xuv 700 you the only single seat is tumble to jump in to the third row. The space in the third row is not fine, headroom is also not good, AC vents are placed on the side.
Overall, I can say the third row of innova crysta is far better in innova then xuv 700. Third row of xuv 700 is good only for kids, on the other hand, in innova crysta, a person can still manage to for short rides.
Second row seats
The second seats of both the cars are good, but in the innova crysta you get a option of captain seats which makes you feel like king. The seats comfort are next level in these seats. But one thing which is missing here is the sunroof. Still the car looks airy with the help of big windows.
In the xuv 700 the seats are comfortable but you dont have any option for captain seats. The big sunroof is in the car which makes the car feel more airy. The upholstery of the seats is good. The second row of the xuv 700 feel more bright.
Front seats
Front seats of the innova crysta are good, you get electronically adjustable driver seat. In xuv 700 you get good comfortable seats. You also get electronically adjustable driver seat with memory function. but the ventilated seats are missing in both the cars.

When you enter in innova crysta you can see good layout with a good quality touchscreen and an analog instrument cluster. Everything is good and sturdy but plastic quality can be improved because for this price range it is not acceptable. The feel inside the car is very good the steering and dashboard have some wood finish, which really enhances the aesthetics.
I really like the interior colour theme of the xuv 700, because of the lite colors it really feels bright and airy. No doubt about the this interior colors are prone to get dirty but overall fit and finish is awesome. Yes, it also has hard plastics at the dashboard but mahindra has done a great job regarding the interiors.

If we compare the features offering by both the cars, you can say xuv 700 has loads of features like large infotainment system, large sunroof and high range of connected car features but innova crysta has the all required features or we can say the most usable features. When toyota upgraded its innova crysta last it added so many features in the car like 360 camera, apple car play and android auto.
Overall if are a person who like latest gadgets then must go for xuv 700 but if you want a car with features which are most usable then go for innova crysta.

If you driving the manual variant then you can feel the clutch is a bit on the heavier side.
Innova crysta also comes in the petrol variant and has 2.7 Lt engine which produces 165 ps of power and 245 nm of torque. This engine is quite smooth but it drinks a lot of fuel. It is a naturally aspirated engine so can’t get a punchy drive.
In terms of driving this car provides very composed drive. On the highways you get good output from the steering but in the city you feel the steering is on the harder side. Overall the car is good, abuse friendly and reliable. That is way it is the largest selling MPV in India.
