The ride quality of XUV 700 is good you can maneuver it in the city easily. NVH levels of this car are fine but sometimes you feel the noise. On the lower RPMs, you also feel some minor vibrations on the dashboard, paddles, and on the steering.
If you take this beauty on rough roads then it will handle them very smoothly with the top trim you get all four disc brakes which increases its braking a lot.
Overall if you see the dimensions of the car it’s big from other cars from this segment but it handles all the odd things quite well, the ride and handling are very good. You will enjoy driving this car.

If we talk about the front row passenger you get great seats with great support and comfort.
On the second row, three people can sit easily you will have great thigh support and good shoulder room but because of the low height for tall people, you might face some problems in the headroom. The most important thing here till now Mahindra has not offered any captain seat option.
The third row has lots of options like AC vents, blower speed control, and charging but here adults can’t sit comfortably instead children are good to go with.

Engine and transmission – The XUV700 has provided two engine options under the hood first is a 2.0-liter mStallion turbo-petrol engine and the second is a 2.2-liter mHawk diesel engine option under the hood.
The petrol engine has a power output of 197bhp and a torque output of 380Nm.
The diesel engine comes in two tuning options: the first is 153bhp and 360Nm of torque and the second one is 182bhp and 420Nm of torque this engine provides 450Nm of torque with Automatic Transmission. Mahindra has provided two transmission options with XUV 700: a six-speed manual and a six-speed automatic.

XUV 700 is a feature-packed car but some basic and other features are still missing from the car. I am going to highlight these features which are in my opinion should be in the car or must be given as an option.
- Auto-dimming IRVM – Mahindra must give this auto-dimming IRVM, Mahindra has given manual one but auto-dimming are a must for this kind of premium product
- Lite Interiors – Mahindra has offered light colored (white) interior which looks good but after sometime it will look bad, to make it look like new you have to pay some extra money to get it cleaned every few times
- Low boot space – If you are going for 7 seater option of XUV700 then have to compromise the boot space
- Captain seats – Mahindra is not offering any captain seats option for this mahindra XUV700
- Ventilated seats – These seats Mahindra can give as an option, if customers want this kind of seat then he can upgrade
- Sun shades – Sunshades are not a big thing but company should consider it
- Head room – The XUV700 is not getting a decent amount of headroom and it gets worse in third row
- Plastic quality – Plastic quality is also not as good as provided by tata in their safari

In the end, everyone wants to know, who is this car best for? Here are some different aspects that we should talk about by keeping in mind that this car has two variants 5 seater and 7 seater.
If we talk about it as 5 seater, so if you want a car which is easy to commute then you have many options like brezza, sonnet and many more. For this purpose it is not a perfect fit because it is a bigger car, yes you can easily maneuver it in the city but it can’t be used as a primary car for a crowded city.
On the other hand, if you want to use this car as a secondary car or just want to go for long drives with this. This is a good option because has so much space to carry your luggage.
If we talk about it as a 7 seater, I don’t think it is a good option to go for, yes you can manage two kids at the back but if you want to go with adults it will not be a good option. After 7 people seating inside the cabin you don’t have any space to carry your luggage.
