Ans – The ground of the new Celerio is increased by 5 mm which is 170 mm now. It helps you to take your car to the bad patches of roads easily.

Ans – you can see all the dimension figures on the Maruti website but here I will tell you the thing which really matters to you. The length of the car is the same but the wheelbase of the car is bigger than its previous version which helps this new-gen Celerio to provide good second-row space and boot space (313 lt boot). Ans – Celerio has 3 cylinders KC series engine which is an upgrade over K series engines. This engine has more valves to provide you with a smooth ride. The mid-range of the engine means when you pull the car over 2000 rpm it is fantastic, you have great pull with the smooth ride there but not recommended to go over 100 kmph to 110 kmph.
If you are at slow speeds or in bumper-to-bumper traffic you can not take this car in second gear it demands you to shift it in a lower gear.

Ans – The riding comfort is very nice, the car is quite stable. You can easily maneuver it in the cities and on the highway, it gives you great grip. The travel of the clutch is good if you want to go with the manual variant.
One thing I must point out is the steering behavior, when you take a U-turn or do lane change the steering will not come back to its position automatically instead you have to do it manually. This adds some effort to your drive, but you will get used to it. Otherwise, the car riding comfort is top-notch; it is like an underdog.

Ans – You will get disc brakes at the front and drums at the rear. The braking performance is good. ABS works quite well.
Ques – How is the AMT (automatic) Celerio’s performance?
Ans – The AMT works fine. It is not smooth but does its work well. In the planes, it works well and it shifts the gears quickly to give you good mileage. When you are on the steep incline the gearbox struggles there to keep the engine on right rpm. Maruti has given Hill Hold feature in the Celerio which really works well and protects the car from rollback, but on the steep incline, you see the wheels spin in this.
